My wedding photography business has now closed.  Portraits, corporate headshots, actors headshots and model portfolio updates are unaffected.  Take a look at www.melpettit.photo for further information.

Getting the wedding photos you want in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk and surrounding counties

Welcome to Mel Pettit photography. I am delighted you found me.  Based in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, which is close to Cambridge, Peterborough and Huntingdon, I can travel throughout surrounding counties including Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. I’m a professional wedding photographer with stacks of experience in capturing weddings in an elegant and creative way.

I suspect you might be in the middle of browsing dozens of wedding photographers, wondering which one will capture your day perfectly. Who will deliver the best images? Who’ll be the most fun? Who’ll just “get” you and your partner? Well, if you’re looking for someone thoughtful, experienced, flexible with a great eye for detail, I’d venture that you’ve come to the right place.

No doubt you will be wanting some more details.  I am always contactable by phone, email, text or WhatsApp.  Call me, but if I am busy and cannot answer send me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.  In the meantime click on any of the links below to take a look at the sort of thing I offer.

Studio, location or home based portraits

I enjoy taking a good portrait as much as I love photographing weddings. Taking an image of an individual that will last for generations makes me very happy.  There is no comparing a professionally taken portrait with a mobile phone selfie; they are not the same thing.   Selfies are viewed and consumed in seconds but a printed portrait will outlast the subject.

There are a number of ways in which I can photograph you.  We could go to a studio – I don’t own my own but I do hire time – we could go to a location special to you, or I can come to your home.  I have all the lights needed to get the image you want, all I need is some space in which to work.

The information you need to arrange your own portrait session is just a click away.  The links below will take you to the pages with all the information you need to arrange your own shoot.  Take a look – you know you want to!
